David Alan Hill, of Lynn, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Tuesday, January 10, at the age of 75 after battling a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Charlotte (Cole) Hill, with whom he shared 51 years of marriage.
Born in Providence, RI, David was the son of the late Arthur Hill and Alice Edna (Pratt) Levasseur.
He was an avid Boston sports fan, and also worked for the MBTA for 32 years before retiring in 2005.
David leaves behind his children David Hill and his wife Mia of Danvers, Christopher Hill and his girlfriend Michelle Luongo of Lynn, Melissa Dalton and her husband Joseph of Lynn and Jennifer Hill of Lynn, and his three grandchildren Davy, Joslyn, and Jordyn. His sister Sandra Dyer of Melbourne, FL. He also leaves behind his dog and sidekick Lucky.
David was predeceased by his brothers Ronald and Donald Hill.
On the request of the family, funeral services will be held privately.
