

Don was born in Lynn September 10, 1935, son of the late Charles and Elsie F. (White) Hudson. He was a lifelong resident of the City and was a graduate of Lynn English High School Class of 1953.
He was a United States Army veteran and served during the Korean Conflict.
Don worked for the Lynn Water and Sewer Department as Manager of Fleet Maintenance for 14 years until his retirement in 2003. He previously worked as a Manager of Fleet Maintenance for HP Hood and West Lynn Creamery.
He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Lodge of Masons A.F. & A.M. for 54 years and received his 50 year Veterans medal in 2009. He was also an active member of the Aleppo Shriners since 1969 where he also was a member of the Provost Guard. He was a member of the Royal Order of Jesters in Boston since 1989. He belonged to the Ancient Order of the Hibernians Division 10 and the Wakefield Elks. Don also enjoyed golfing.
Don leaves us with many years of fun filled memories as he was an example of how to live our lives to the fullest while enjoying every moment with family and friends.
He leaves a daughter Cheryl A. Collins and her husband James of Danvers, a son Bradford Ring, Jr. and his wife Michelle of Wells, ME. He is also survived by his grandson Michael Collins of Lynn and his granddaughters Sara and Amanda Ring of Wells, ME. He leaves his two sisters Barbara Mitchell of Lynn and Constance McCarthy of Luoisville, KY. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Charles, Richard and Kenneth Hudson, Priscilla Cobb, Donna Langevain and Audrey Kinney.
Don’s Funeral Service will be in the CUFFE-McGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-5 PM. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Gifts in his memory may be made to the Shriners Hospital’s 51 Blossom St. Boston, MA 02114.
