Donald Carl Richardson

He was a devoted father to Robyn Kefalas and her husband Stephen, and Bryan Richardson and his partner Ning Zhou. He was predeceased by his son, Donald, and his daughter, Jodi. Don was a cherished grandfather to Stephen Kefalas and his wife Julia, Jared Kefalas, and Jillian Kefalas, and a proud great-grandfather to Ava and Stella Kefalas.

He was the dear son of the late Gladys and Carl Richardson, and he also leaves behind his sister, Shirley Houston.

Don grew up in Saugus, Massachusetts, and was an alumnus of Saugus High School. He and his wife, Carol, raised their family in Lynn.

Don was employed as an auditor at General Electric Aircraft Engines. He was also a dedicated Sunday School teacher, youth group leader, and percussionist at Austin Square Baptist Church.

Don cherished time spent with family and friends. He had a heart of gold and loved hosting game nights and karaoke, making Christmas a truly special and memorable holiday for all. Don enjoyed motorcycles, entertaining, playing senior hockey, music, singing, drumming, and food—though not necessarily in that order.

Visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at Austin Square Baptist Church, 10 Keslar Avenue, Lynn, MA 01905. His funeral service will follow at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Don’s memory to Care Dimensions, 75 Sylvan Street, B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.
