

Donna was born in Lynn, daughter of the late Elaine (Elwell) Eldridge and William Fraser and stepdaughter of the late Harold C. Eldridge.
She was employed by CMJ Management Company for 35 years and was proud of her service at both Kings Lynne and Quaker Meadows Apartments, first as Director of Maintenance and then as a Property Manager at Millbrook Square Apartments and Quaker Meadows Apartments.
Donna had a tremendous amount of compassion for the people in her community. She was a member of the America Park Tenants Association Board and was instrumental in the conversion of the public housing development to the beautiful community that is now Kings Lynne Apartments. During her youth, she proudly marched on Washington DC for civil rights and social justice. She provided support to many disadvantaged adults and youth, helped with addiction programs and was always a warm and welcome presence for those in need. She waitressed for many years while attending junior college and working in the Lynn Multi Service Center, she assisted local residents by delivering food baskets to the elderly and helping to organize community fundraisers. She was well known for her elaborate Halloween Haunted Houses and painted Christmas windows that were enjoyed by many in the community.
She leaves her three daughters, Doreen Donovan and her husband Paul of Saugus, Diane DeLauri and her husband David of Lynn and Linda DeLauri of Medford; four grandsons, Michael DeLauri and his fiancé Kim Noonan of Beverly, David DeLauri of Peabody and Alexander and Kevin Donovan of Saugus. She was the sister to Linda Serven and Dorothy Niedert of Lynn, Kathy Currier of Florida, Kenneth Eldridge of LA and the late Sandra Cashman, Michael Fraser, William Fraser and Joan Langer. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Donna’s Funeral Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Thursday at 9:30AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the St. Stephen’s Church Food Pantry, 74 South Common St. Lynn, MA 01902.
