Ernesto J. Ho

Ernesto J. Ho, age 75, passed away at Blueberry Hill Nursing Home on Monday, June 8, 2020.

Born in the Dominican Republic on June 6, 1945, he was a son of the late Julio and Juliana (Segura) Ho. Ernesto attended Catolica Madre y Maestra University, graduating with a bachelors degree in agricultural engineering. Following his graduation went on to work in imports and exports for many years, and was also a professor at O&M University and Pontificia Catolica Madre y Maestra University, before his retirement.

In his free time, Ernesto loved read, ride his bike, walk, and travel. He was a Carolho baseball pater, as well as a black belt in Judo. Above all else though, Ernesto enjoyed spending time with his family and being around those he loved.

Surviving Ernesto are his children, Julissa Ferrari and her husband, the late Dempson of Lynn, Jeanne Maestre and her husband Kevin of Lynn, Katherine Ho of Lynn, Alexandra Mercado and her husband Wascar of New Jersey, Juliana Ho Ramirez of the Dominican Republic, Franklin Ramirez Ho of the Dominican Republic, and Jessenia Ho Ramirez of Michigan; his grandchildren that he was close to here in the states, Juliana Ho, Janelle Ferrari, Ricardo Maestre, Jaynie Maestre, Jailene Ho, Jada Mieses, Jariel Barrientos, Jamil Barrientos, as well as 9 grandchildren whom he loved living in the Dominican Republic; the beloved mother of his children, Juana Mercado and her husband Rafael, who was a dear friend to Ernesto, as well as many other dear relatives and friends.

Arrangements: At the request of the family, services will be held privately. His burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
