

Glenn Lee Moody, Sr. age 65 of Lowell, former longtime resident of Lynn, passed away Saturday, September 2, 2017 at his home. He was born on February 26, 1952 in Lynn the son of Gale and the late Ruth (Ames) Moody. Glenn was raised in Lynn and graduated from Lynn English High School. Glenn worked as a machinist for GE in Wilmington for over 15 years. He was a proud father and grandfather who loved his family and especially enjoyed going camping in the White Mountains. He loved to party with his family and friends at cookouts and family events. He enjoyed listening to music and playing cards. Glenn was an animal lover who loved his cat very much.
Glenn is survived by his father, Gale Moody, his daughters, Kristine and April Moody, sisters, Elaine Fedas and husband Charles and Dianne Pohlmeyer and husband Mike, granddaughter, Amelia Ciampoli, nephews, Matt Fedas and John Pohlmeyer and niece Lauren Pohlmeyer. He was predeceased by his son, Glenn Moody, Jr. and his brother, Dean W. Moody. Glenn is now at peace and with his son forever.
Family and friends are invited to attend Glenn’s visitation on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 4-6:30 PM at Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA 01904. A Celebration of Life will follow the visitation at the funeral home from 6:30 – 7 PM. Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 11 AM in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boston Street in Lynn.
