Grace G. Tourtillott

Mrs. Grace G. (Holmes) Tourtillott, age 85, of Peabody, passed away Friday at home after a brief illness. She was the beloved wife of the late John W. Tourtillott, with whom she shared 60 plus years of marriage.

Born in Lynn, Grace was the daughter of the late Ernest and Myrtle (Coulter) Holmes. She attended and graduated from Lynn Public Schools. She moved to Peabody after her marriage where she resided for 64 years. Grace enjoyed knitting and needlepoint.

She leaves her son, John A. Tourtillott and his wife Yadzia Szalkowski of Peabody. Grace was the loving grandmother to Krystina R. Tourtillott and Nicholas J. Tourtillott. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Grace was the sister to the late Ernest W. Holmes, Jr., of Orange, MA and Louise Holmes of FL.
