Greta Wallis

Born in Roxbury, Greta was the daughter of the late Theodore W. and Mary A. (Morgan) Peterson. She was a lifelong resident of Lynn.

Prior to her retirement, Greta worked as a supervisor in admitting at the Lynn Hospital. Greta was once Regatta Queen of the Volunteer Yacht Club and was a member of St. Stephen’s Memorial Episcopal Church. She was a former model, loved to dance and was a singer at several Boston clubs.

Greta is survived by her daughter, Robin M. Spiriti, her granddaughter, Erika L. Williams and her great granddaughter, Bella Raine. She is also survived by her grandson-in-law, Michael L. Ford as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her son, Richard M. Spiriti and her brothers, Theodore and Edward Peterson.

Visiting Hours in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday from 5-7PM followed by a Funeral Service at 7:00PM. Relatives and friends invited.
