Jane S. Snow

Mrs. Jane S. Snow, age 79 years, of Lynn, died unexpectedly Thursday at Massachusetts General Hospital, after being stricken at home. She was the wife of the late Harold T. Snow. Born in Lynn she was the daughter of the late Charles and Margaret (Byrne) McFarlane. Jane attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn English High School, Class of 1952. She also graduated from Lynn Hospital School of Nursing, and received a Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern University. She was employed as a registered nurse at both Lynn and Union Hospitals until she retired in 1995. She was a member of St. Stephen's Memorial Episcopal Church, where she was a member and former Director of the Altar Guild. Jane is a member and present Chief Daughter of the Daughters of Scotia, Victory Lodge #90. She is survived by one sister Alice McFarlane of Lynn, one brother Charles and his wife Sue McFarlane of Orleans, one niece Maureen McFarlane of Ridgefield, CT. She also leaves behind lots of cousins and dear friends. Service Details: Funeral services will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Wednesday at 10:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Tuesday from 3:00 - 7:00 PM. Please make memorial donations in Jane's name to St. Stephen's Memorial Episcopal Church 74 S.
