Mr. John A. McCabe, age 62 years, of Derry, NH, formerly of Lynn, died Tuesday May 3, after a brief illness, at Pleasant Valley Nursing Center in Derry Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA he was the son of the late Eugene and Alice (Clemens) McCabe. He attended Lynn schools. John lived in Lynn until moving to Derry six years ago. He attended the Trask Adult Day Care Center in Peabody, and the Silverthorne Adult Care in Salem, NH. He was a communicant of St. Mary's Church. John was an avid Red Sox fan, and enjoyed Music, Dancing, and spending time with his family. He is survived by two sisters Barbara Smith of Wilkes-Barre, PA, Kathleen Barker of Raymond, NH, and many nieces and nephews. Service Details: John's visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home, 35 Franklin St. Lynn on Friday from 3:00 - 6:00 PM. Funeral services will be private.
