

Born in Lynn he was the son of Sandra (Grant) DeLeo of Lynn, and the late William DeLeo. John attended Lynn schools and was a lifelong Lynn resident. He was employed as a chef at the Port Hole Pub in Lynn for over 40 years. After the Port Hole closed, he worked as a driver for Ocean Transportation. John enjoyed scratch tickets, playing poker and watching old war movies. He also enjoyed watching sports, he loved the Boston Red Sox, Patriots and Bruins.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by one son Shaun P Moholland of Lynn, two daughters Shannon Moholland and her husband Brian Colantuno of Salem, Sarah Moholland and her longtime boyfriend Dave Harris of Saugus, one brother Michael and his wife Debra Moholland of Brooksville, FL, his mother-in-law Carol Winslow, a niece Meghan Moholland, one grandson Trent J. Moholland of Lynn, and several nieces and nephews.
Service Details: Visiting hours will be held at the Parker Funeral Home 35 Franklin St. Lynn in Thursday July 31st on Thursday from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM flowed by a Celebration of Life and Rolly’s Tavern on the Square 338 Broadway Lynn to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
John J. Moholland, age 61, of Lynn, died unexpectedly at Salem Hospital after being stricken at home. He was the husband of Tammy (Winslow) Moholland with whom he shared 40 years of marriage.
