John F. Trotter, formerly of Lynn, passed away peacefully at the Hathorne Hill Healthcare facility in Danvers on Tuesday, January 31, 2023 at the age of 97. John and his wife, Dolores (Lemme), lived their lives together as residents of Lynn until Dolores' passing in 2006. John proudly served in the U.S. Army during WWII, after which he worked for the U.S. Postal Service for much of his professional life.
John enjoyed traveling with his wife Dolores, picnics with his extended family at Bradley Palmer State Park, and Boston sports, in particular the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. John is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were private in accordance with John's wishes. He is interred at St. Joseph Cemetery in Lynn.
