Leo was a very sweet and gentle soul. Always greeted people with a big smile, a hug, a kiss or a fist bump. He loved sports, jigsaw puzzles and his church, St. Pius of Lynn. He was loved and cherished by his family and dear friends Maggie Smith and Judith Rotiroti.
Born in Lynn, Leo was the son of the late Mary (Hughes) Gallant and Leo M. Gallant Sr. of Lynn.
Leo is survived by his two sisters Emma Theresa Goad of Newton NH and Mary “Alice” Nichols of Saugus, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was pre-deceased by his sisters, Loretta Larocque of Hampton NH, Margaret “Florence” Gallant of Lynn, and brother Joseph “Earl” Gallant of Salem.
A funeral will be held for Leo on Thursday February 3rd, at St. Pius V Church 215 Maple St. Lynn at 10am. Interment will be at St. Jean's cemetery Lynn, 134 Broadway in Lynn.
