Eventually, she remarried Attorney John Nestor and moved from Saratoga Springs, NY to Lynn, where they shared 39 years of marriage. She continued her nursing career while raising her family.
Loretta enjoyed time with family and friends. especially her best friend of 60 years, Mary Ann Woodward of Swampscott. She also enjoyed her walks with good friends and neighbors, the late Leda Barr and Walter "Bucky" Gutherie, both of Lynn. Loretta was passionate, kind, loyal, and funny. She possessed a quick wit and a talent for mimicry. She"ll be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Loretta graduated from Saratoga High School and completed the Nursing Program in the State of New York, Albany, NY. She dedicated many years of her career as a charge nurse at the Lynn Convalescent Home until its closure in 2002. She then became an instructor and educator for Greater Lynn Senior Services in Lynn.
