Marie A. Mancinelli

Born in Lawrence, Marie was the daughter of the late Gaetano and Carmela (Cofentino) Sciandra and was a longtime resident of Lynn.

Marie was an active communicant of Holy Family Church and was a longtime choir member along with her late husband. She enjoyed ceramics, reading, knitting and crocheting and loved to dance.

She leaves her sons, David Mancinelli and and his wife Karen of Lynn and Paul Mancinelli and his wife Marie of Ipswich. She was the grandmother of Paul Mancinelli, Janine Hannibal, Lauri Mancinelli and David Mancinelli. Great Grandmother of Taylor, Kyle, Evan, Emily, Paul and Anthony. She is also survived by her sisters, Paula and Angelina both of New York as well as many nieces and nephews.

Marie’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME< 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 10:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in Holy Family Church at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. Visiting Hours Sunday 2-5PM. Gifts in her memory may be sent to the Alzheimer’s Association, 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472.
