Born in in Lynn. Martha was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rita (Gately) Michaels. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School.
She worked for years as a computer programmer and later at Kmart. She Loved music and was the sound coordinator for the Blues Jam in Lynn for 10 years.
Martha is survived by her brothers; Brian Michaels and his wife Eileen Peyton of Newburyport and Joseph Michaels of Arizona. Also survived by a niece, Jessica Michaels Howes of North Point Maryland and nephews Alden and Ian Michaels of Newburyport.
Martha’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday at 10AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Pius V Church at 11 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Interment at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Contributions may be made to American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22718 Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718 in her Martha’s name.
