Mary Milmore

Mary worked as a Customer Service Representative for General Electric until her retirement in 1986. She was a devoted member at St. Pius V church and an active member of her community.

Mary traveled extensively and visited Ireland many times.

Mary’s interests included local sports, especially Lynn English High School basketball. She attended hundreds of games. She enjoyed playing cards and cooking holiday meals for the whole family. Mary was a graduate of Lynn English High School class of 1943. She organized many reunions for her class that generated thousands of dollars in scholarships over the decades.

Mary loved her Rowell Ave neighborhood and often spoke fondly of the great Fourth of July block parties there.

She is survived by her sister-in-law Lois Milmore of Lynn. She was beloved aunt to Kathleen Milmore of Lynn, Jack Milmore of Lynn, Amy Ewing and her husband Steven of Methuen, Timothy Milmore and his wife Andrea Holmberg of North Andover and Andrew Milmore and his wife Kyla Astley of Malden.

She is predeceased by her three brothers John Milmore, Vincent Milmore and D. Leo Milmore and his wife Jean and her lifelong companion Victor Matsur of Peabody.

Family and friends are invited to attend Mary’s Funeral Mass on Friday, September 3, 2021 at St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St. Lynn, at 10:00 am. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
