

Born and raised in Lynn, she was the proud daughter of the late Bertram N. and Jeanette F. (Cantrell) Nottingham, and the former wife of John R. Marcin of Wakefield. She graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1972, and from Andover Junior College, Class of 1978 where she received her Associate’s Degree in Accounting.
Pamela was born with cerebral palsy, a life-long handicap whose challenges she faced and conquered every day of her life through her sheer strength of character and undeniable will. She passed down this strength to her three surviving children, Christopher M. Trahan and his wife Jackie of Saugus, David M. Trahan and his companion Valerie Bowden of Melrose, and Richard A. Marcin and his companion Colleen Hickey of Wakefield.
She was the sister of Linda Roberts of Lynn and Claire Hegyes of Sunrise, FL, as well as the grandmother of Elizabeth N. Trahan. She is also survived by three nieces, two nephews, three grandnieces, five grandnephews, many cousins, friends and her best-friend Bonnie Burwell.
A Memorial Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 1, 2012 at 11 AM in St. Stephen’s Memorial Episcopal Church, 74 South Common Street, Lynn. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Arrangements by Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home 157 Maple Street, Lynn. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers 01923.
