

Patricia was born in Salem, MA, daughter of Robert and Anne (Peduto) Barr. She graduated from Lynn English High School Class of 1967. Patricia served her country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Upon her honorable discharge in 1978, she joined the US National Guard where she was a reserve from 1978-1990. Her knowledge of aircraft mechanics carried over from the Air Force to East Coast Tech where she was the first female Aircraft Mechanic Instructor.
Patricia was employed as an Honorable Post Master for the US Postal Service for 26 years until her retirement in 2010.
In addition to her time employed with the Post Office and her time in the military, Pat belonged to the American Legion Post #128 of Standish, ME, she was a Charter Member of Women in Military Service for America, and she was also the Secretary and Treasurer of NAPUS, the National Association of Postmasters of the United States.
Pat was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed playing softball, bowling, golfing and watching all Boston sports. She was the most caring and loving individual who always put others first.
In addition to her mother, Pat is survived by her partner of 23 years, Joan Howard of Standish, ME, sister, Donna M. Beaulieu and husband James of Lynn and her beloved niece and nephews, Michelle Clancy and husband Michael, Mark Beaulieu and Derek Beaulieu all of Lynn. Pat was predeceased by her father, Robert Barr.
Patricia’s Funeral will be held on Monday from the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. Lynn at 9:30AM. Mass at St. Pius V, 215 Maple St. Lynn at 10:30AM. Burial to follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn. Visiting hours Sunday 2-6PM.
