Patricia M. Kennedy

Born in Lynn to the late William and Mildred (Collins) Cronin. She attended St. Mary’s High School, graduating with the Class of 1948, and Salem Teachers College in 1952. She taught First Grade at the O’Keefe School and later at the Callahan School.

Patricia was an avid reader, bridge player, and a devoted Red Sox fan. She was a longtime communicant of Our Lady of the Assumption Church. She volunteered for many years at My Brothers Table.

She is survived by her children Patricia Kennedy, Kathleen Demakis and her husband Phillip, and Thomas Kennedy and his wife Lori; her grandchildren Jason and his wife Jolene, Deric and his wife Brooklyn, Courtney, Jordan and her husband Michael, Matthew, Kathryn and William; and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband Tom, she is predeceased by her daughter Mary Cahill.

Patricia’s Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 17 Grove Street, Lynnfield, MA 01940. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Lynn.
