Raymond T. Nestor Sr.

Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Dominic and Theresa Marion (Belisle) and stepson of the late Frank Welch. He was a lifelong resident of Lynn.

For many years, Ray was the owner and operator of R & R Construction in Lynn. He was a former member of the Lynn Yacht Club and also enjoyed playing keno, camping, fishing and hunting. His true passion was for motorcycles and he loved to ride, especially on runs for charity.

He leaves his children, Raymond T. Nestor Jr. and his wife Monique of Saugus, Sherri Hickey and her husband Jack of Lynn, Theresa Holmes and her husband Russell and their son, Russell Holmes Jr. all of Lynn, and Robert Nestor and his family of Lynn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Edward and Joseph Nestor, Evelyn Shore, and Helen Markee.

Ray’s Funeral will be held from the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Monday at 9:00AM followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Pius V Church at 10:00AM. Relatives and friends invited.
