Shirley R. (Garlick) Hunt, age 73, of Lynn, died Friday Sept 25, 2015. Born in Malden, Shirley was the daughter of the late Walter and Nellie (Mountain) Garlick. She was a graduate of Lynnfield High School.
Shirley enjoyed crafting, puzzles, spending time with family and friends and was an avid reader.
Shirley is survived by her children, Ray W. Hunt and his girlfriend, Judi Fitzgerald of Lynn and Dawn C. Calvani and her husband, Timothy of Amesbury; a sister, Judy Dahlgren and four grandchildren, Anthony and Sarah Calvani and Matthew and David Hunt; a nephew, Rodney Dahlgren and two nieces, Kim Provost and Ann Dever.
Shirley’s funeral will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Friday, October 2, 2015, at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting Hours will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2015 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn will be private.
