Stephen Edmund Romanowski

Stephen Edmund Romanowski, 67, of Saugus, died unexpectedly on August 19, 2025.

Born and raised in Lynn, to Edmund and Joan (Carroll) Romanowski. Stephen attended Lynn English High School, graduated Class of 1975. Went on to become a graduate of the apprentice program which led to his employment as a machinist at GE for 20+ years. He was an Eagle Scout, an avid lover of all things nature and a man of many hobbies. Known for his quick wit, unmatched sense of humor, and willingness to help others – he will be missed by all.

Stephen is survived by his wife Anne, daughter Kristin and her husband Nick McCartney, son Brian and his wife Meredith, mother of his two children Deborah, four granddaughters Mia, Autumn, Addison, and Theodora, mother Joan, four brothers – Paul and his wife Mary, John and his wife Pam, David, Peter and his wife Karin, 4 nieces and 2 nephews. Stephen was preceded in death by his father Edmund and sister Janet.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 23 from 9:00-11:00 AM in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, followed by a short service at 11 AM.
