Tim Levesque

Tim Levesque, 85 of Lynn, passed away on Tuesday evening, July 26, 2016 after a brief illness. Born in Peabody on December 8, 1930, he was the son of the late Wilfred Levesque and Nonie (Prendible) (Levesque) Sonigan. Tim was raised and educated in Peabody. He ran his painting business, F.T. Levesque Co., for many decades and worked right up until his recent hospitalization. Tim also dedicated his life to selfless service, counseling those in need. Tim is survived by his wife, Marilyn Levesque of Lynn, his step-daughters, Mary Ellen Messer of Nashua, NH, and Maureen Messer of Lynn and a granddaughter, Merrimac Moran of Nashua, NH. He was also survived by his cousin, Kay Ellen D’Amour and her husband, Dana of Peabody. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his son, Larry Levesque and his brother, John Levesque. Visiting hours will be held in the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple St. LYNN on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 9 to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow in St. Pius V Church, 215 Maple St. Lynn at 11 AM. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Salem. Relatives and friends are kindly invited.
