Walter Ventura Jr.

Born in Lynn, he was the beloved son of Lena (Brienza) Ventura of Lynn and the late Walter Ventura, Sr. He attended Lynn Schools and was a lifelong resident of Lynn.

Walter enjoyed antique cars and attending car shows. He was very mechanically inclined and could take almost anything apart and put it back together. He enjoyed traveling and day trips with his mother, attending flea markets, and collecting all types of collectibles and memorabilia.

In addition to his mother, he leaves his brothers and sisters, Rita Dunleavy and her husband Robert of Beverly, Linda Ventura of Lynn, Richard Ventura and his wife Anne of Lynn, Judith Ventura of Exeter, NH, Carol Nelson and her husband Harold of Hampton, NH, Guy Ventura and his wife Laura of Saugus, Joanne Caron and her husband Gary of Rollinsford, NH, Anthony Ventura of Peabody and Virginia Serven and her husband Lawrence of Farmington, NH. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Walter’s Memorial Service will be held in the CUFFE-MCGINN FUNERAL HOME, 157 Maple St. Lynn on Wednesday at 12:00PM. Relatives and friends invited. Burial will be private. Memorial Visitation prior to the Service beginning at 10:00AM. Gifts in his memory may be sent to the Joslin Diabetes Center, Development Office,1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215.
