Born in Reading to the late Arthur J. and Dorothea A. (Brooks) White. Wayne was a proud sailor, serving in the United States Navy. Following his service, Wayne worked for General Electric where he started off as a machinist and worked his way up to management prior to his retirement.
Wayne was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and loved going to bingo.
Surviving Wayne are his children Wayne F. White, Jr. and his wife Robin of Leominster, Karen M. Morrison and her husband Christian of Lynn, and Derek J. White and his wife Lisa of Lynn; and his sister Jeri Mattingly of Peabody; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Wayne was predeceased by his son Kevin J. White.
Friends and family are kindly invited to attend a graveside service on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
