William T. Hanson

William T. (Bill) Hanson, Sr. age 73 of Seabrook, NH, formerly of Lynn died Sunday December 14th at Portsmouth Regional Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the husband of Nancy (Ramsdell) Hanson, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Born in Lynn he was the son of the late Henry E. and Ethel (Dorman) Hanson. Bill attended Lynn schools and graduated from Lynn Classical High School, Class of 1969, he also attended Salem State College where he received an associate’s degree.  Bill was employed as a senior technician at National Grid Energy Supply for many years. Bill was a member of the First Church of Christ in Lynn Congregational. An avid golfer, he also enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family.

In addition to his wife he is survived by three sons William T. and his wife Jennifer Hanson, of Dover NH, Charles H. Hanson and his wife Tara of Seabrook, Jonathan P. Hanson and his husband Eder of Chelsea MA, three grandchildren Emma, Leah, and Charlie, two sisters Shirley A. and her husband Rick Skalski of Chesterfield, Missouri, Carole Garrigan of  Chesterfield, Missouri.

Service Details: A Memorial Service for Bill will be held at the First Church of Christ in Lynn, Congregations, 678 Lynnfield St. Lynn on Saturday January 3rd at 11:00 AM to which relatives and friends are invited to attend.
