David Lind passed away from pancreatic cancer surrounded by his loving family on May 20, 2018. David was born in Seattle and grew up in Shoreline, Washington. He attended and graduated from Shorewood High School. He continued his education at the University of Puget Sound. While there, he played football on a four year scholarship and was the treasurer for Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982.
David met and married Marian (Snider) in Seattle. Together they raised their two sons and daughter in the Seattle area. He was a very loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother and uncle. David was a hard worker and successful in the sales industry. His most recent employer was Navient of Wilmington, Delaware where he worked as a National Account Executive.
David is survived by his wife, Marian, his son, Alec Griffen and daughter, Alexandra “Ali”. His mother Sheila, brother Michael (Kim), special nephew Joey, extended family, friends and colleagues. He is preceded in death by his father Arnold “Arne” and son Avery.
David enjoyed being surrounded by family, friends and beloved dog, Levi. He loved watching Washington Husky football and the Seattle Seahawks.
A private family service will be held at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills in Lynnwood. A celebration of David’s life for family and friends will be held on June 24, 2018 at the Seattle Yacht Club, 1807 East Hamlin Street Seattle, WA 98112 from 4-6 pm.
