Bonnie Jean Neilson was born on July 2, 1935 in Everett, WA. Bonnie attended Everett High School. She enjoyed roller skating competitions and played the violin. Bonnie Jean was born to Lillian and Louis Salhinger who operated a bike shop in Everett for many years. Bonnie passed away peacefully on January 3, 2021 after a courageous year battle with ovarian cancer. Bonnie was surrounded by her family and friend at her death. She is survived by her son, Michael Edmonds, her daughter, Melodie Hoff, her grandson, Joseph Hoff, and her longtime friend, Alfredo Martell.
Bonnie had a Norwegian heritage that she was very proud of. She had a strong will and was a hard worker involved with electronics and bank maintenance. She held a "tough" attitude in life and was proud of never missing a day of work. Bonnie Jean was an excellent seamstress who sewed beautiful clothes and drapes. She also enjoyed cooking and prepared delicious food for her family. Gardening was a hobby and she grew huge beautiful flowers. Bonnie loved animals and had several dogs and cats that she adored.
Bonnie Jean was a very special person. Her family loved her dearly and she will be in our hearts until we meet again.
