Esther Anderson

Born May 2, 1920 in Enumclaw ,WA. Went home to be with her Lord on February 27, 2016.

Esther grew up on a farm in Enumclaw with an older brother Hans, and sister Christy (Lily).

She graduated from Enumclaw High School in 1937 and went and graduated from Seattle Secretarial School. She married Russel V. Anderson on January 13, 1945.They had two children Robert B. Anderson of Seattle, WA and Judy E. Anderson of Mountlake Terrace.

She was an active member of Maple Leaf Lutheran Church in North Seattle and later a member of Evergreen Baptist Church in Shoreline WA. She was actively participated in the PTA and was a room mother at Maple Leaf Elementary School. She was also a Cub Scout Den Mother and Camp Fire Girls Leader.

She led an active life and loved ice skating, dancing, bowling, gardening, knitting, sewing and all crafts. She never missed an opportunity to travel to see friends and visit new places.

Esther is survived by her children, Robert and Judy. Her sister Christy McQuaker of Seattle, Nieces and nephews. Mary McQuaker Rinear, Kathy McQuaker Reynolds, Andrew Christiansen, Jan Christiansen Nalder, Barbara Christiansen Silliman, David Royer and Susan Royer Brooks.
