G. Alton “Grish” Grisham, of Woodinville, WA, passed away on Feb 24th, 2016. He was born on Feb 18, 1938 in Levelland, TX to parents W.F. and Vada Grisham. He attended Skiatook High School in Oklahoma, and technical college in Tulsa, OK. He married his wife of 54 years, Joanne Molander, in November of 1961in Montclair, CA. Grish worked as a draftsman for over 35 years, and at Corp of Eng. In Tulsa, Ok for three years. He was a member of the Baptist Church, affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America and various soccer leagues. Most important to him was family activities, the Travel Trailer Club, trains, history, visiting friends and family and he was a BIG fan of Oklahoma University Football. Grish was preceded in death by his parents W.F and Vada Grisham. He is survived by his loving wife Joanne, his children; M. Kale, Steven M. and Jerry A. His grandchildren; Keiley, Alyssa, Jacob, Joseph and Emily as well as his siblings; J. Donald Grisham of Everett WA, Wanda Shephard, and Mary Newman (Jim Newman) of Skiatook, OK. A Graveside Service will be held at 11am on Thursday March 3rd at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills in Lynnwood, WA with a Memorial Service to follow at Wooden Valley Baptist Church in Bothell, WA. In lieu of flowers, his family asks that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
