

Goldie Juanita Lahaie passed away peacefully in her sleep on the morning of September 23, 2016 at the age of 99. She was born Goldie Juanita Copsey, in Carlin Bay, Idaho on September 18, 1917and she grew up in the Springston, Idaho area, along the St. Joe River. Goldie married Arthur Francis Lahaie on April 17th, 1933 at the age of 16, and they had five children over the course of ten years. The family moved to Washington State in late 1943. Over the years Goldie held various positions in the restaurant industry until she retired at the age of 62. She was a very creative and artistic woman and at one point she even owned and operated her own ceramics shop.
Goldie was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Francis and her children; Juanita Darling Hensley and Arthur Henry Lahaie. She is survived by her children; Arlene Frances Holly, Barbara Jean Coyne (Bob), Sharon Ann Wieland (Gary), fifteen grandchildren, and numerous great and great-great grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was very well loved and will be missed by all!
A graveside service will be held on Friday September, 30th at 12:30pm at Floral Hills Cemetery, in the Heather Garden. There will be a viewing prior to the service starting at 9am, in the Chapel at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills, 409 Filbert Rd. Lynnwood, WA 98036. All are welcome to attend the visitation and graveside funeral service.
