

Grace Bracamonte was born in Fresno, California on November 17, 1949 to a family of 17 siblings. Her father, Sam Bracamonte, and mother, Rachel Vasques Bracamonte Cruz, are both still living. She had seven brothers, three of whom preceded her in death, and nine sisters, one of whom preceeded her in death.
She grew up in San Jose, California until she join the job corps in the late 1960's and met her spiritual sisters, Connie Rollis and Marie Pursley, who are both deceased. She travelled the world teaching the Baha'i faith.
In one of her travels to a world conference she met her husband, Nayer Khademi, and went to Iran where she feel in love with her mother-in-law and the rest of the Khademis. While pregnant, she had to flee Iran during the revolution and when she reached England she had her greatest love, her son Abbas Khademi, who gave her the second greatest love of her life, her grandson Kayne Khademi, age four.
She was a teacher all of her life, teaching the Baha'i faith to anyone who would listen to her. She spoke several languages. She settled in Seattle, Washington to be with her spiritual mother and sister, Marie Pursley and Betty Wirkkunen, and made lifelong friends who loved her and adored her and made her feel like she was always a part of their family.
Grace loved music and especially loved dancing. She will be missed by so many.
