Harlan Elwood Ostlund

Harlan was born October 19, 1941, in Seattle to Harold and Elvira Ostlund. He grew up in Kirkland. On July 3, 1964, Harlan married the love of his life and best friend Nancy Akerlund. They had two sons Harley and Nick and a daughter Kristin. They lived in the same house for 49 years, and were very involved in their church, Our Redeemer Lutheran church. Harlan worked at Western Pneumatic Tube Co. in Kirkland for 39 years, retiring as the VP of Manufacturing. Harlan loved his family. He enjoyed spending time at the property, fishing, traveling, going to the casino, and being with family and friends.

Harlan is survived by: Nancy Ostlund (Wife): Harley and Stephanie Ostlund (Son): Nicholas and Tina Ostlund (Son): Kristin Cowan (Daughter): Houston and Catherine Ostlund (Grandson): Jordan Ostlund (Granddaughter): Jacob Ostlund (Grandson), many nieces and nephews, and three great grandchildren.

Harlan is preceded in death by Lori Lynn Ostlund (daughter), Kelsey Ann Ostlund (Granddaughter), Mark Cowan (Son in-law), parents, sister, and brother.

A Memorial service for Harlan will be held Saturday, January 6, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills 409 Filbert Road, Lynnwood, WA 98036
