He attended Hanover High School in Hanover, IL and worked for Romac Industries as a Section Manager, retiring in 2001.
Herbert was a master mason and received a 50 year pin from Kavanaugh Lodge #36. He also enjoyed gardening, reading and family gatherings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert H. Wilson, Sr and Helen Wilson.
Herbert is survived by his wife, Kay Wilson; children and step-children, Julie Nesbitt, Herb Wilson III, Denise Green, Robin Lambert, Robert Nesbitt and Rick Nesbitt; 10 granchildren; six great-grandchildren; and brother and sister-in-law, Earl and Theresa Markwell.
A celebration of life reception will be held Saturday, September 8 from 1:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Clubhouse Lago De Plata, Everett, WA.
