66 Years old, Joanne was born on February 26, 1949 in New York, New York to John and Eleanor Barris. She passed away on May 23, 2015 at her home in Everett, Washington with her family next to her. After graduting High School she devoted her life to her family and loved being a part of her grandchildrens life's and activites. She was an event organizer for Gymnastics of Great Falls Booster Club and the Moose Lodge. Joanne loved her cats, the outdoors, gardening and was an avid reader. She was preceded in death by her mother and father. Joanne is survived by her husband, David Smith, their two daughters; Sara Ferguson and Alicia Blair, siblings; Johnny Barris and Diane Mathey and her 3 grandchildren; Joshua, Riley and Logan. On June 3, 2015 at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 409 Filbert Rd Lynnwood, WA, everyone is invited to come at 1:00 PM to have a good visit with the family and friends, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM in the Chapel, ending with the graveside service.
