March 8, 2026 Loren Erich Maiers, 81, of Renton WA, an army veteran, died in Bothell. Loren was born in Seattle to Erich and Marcella Maiers and was raised in Des Moines WA. He graduated in 1961 from Mount Rainier High School and attended Highline College. Loren served in the army as a personnel clerk during the Vietnam Era and retired from Puget Power where he worked as a lineman.
He is survived by his daughter, Tricia Netz, and grandchildren, Katie, Julie and Benjamin Netz.
