Margaret Hazel Babcock Pephyrs went home peacefull to be with the lord on 92nd birthday, December 5, 2011. She was residing at Memory Care, The Cottages at Mill Creek, WA 98012. Her husband, James A. Pephyrs preceded her in death February 26, 1999.
Surviving are three daughters, Zina Orndorf, Vicky Karlson, Elaine Gover, two sons Jimmy Pephyrs and Steven Pephyrs, eighteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Also surviving is a brother John Pellegrini. A sister and five brothers preceded her in death: Virginia, Ned, Dave, Walt, Wes Babcock and Bill Pellegrini.
She was a riveter during World War II. She raised a large family, loved to travel and to be with people. Even with Alzheimers she never stopped smiling and showed love to her caregivers.
Guests are invited to bring a favorite dish for the potluck to follow the service.
