So sorry to hear of Wayne's passing. We always gassed up there.  I was sad when he left and miss the convenience of that gas station.  I believe one of his son's worked there and the whole family was so nice. Jeff and Marilyn Dittebrandt

I'm saddened to hear of Mr. DeWitt's passing. He and Helen were close family friends to my parents Oren & Vivian Bell . Peace be with the DeWitt family.

I am so sorry to hear of Wayne's passing.  I was a customer of Wayne's for many years and he was always so nice and helpful.  When things changed and we were to pump our own gas Wayne indulged me for a long time and pumped for me because he knew I didn't like it.  I was a slow convert!  When he retired I did not continue at the station--it just wasn't the same.  What a nice man!  He and Helen were such a friendly couple and liked and admired by  many of their friends and neighbors. We are so sorry for your loss of Uncle Wayne. He was a great gentleman with a kind heart. He always was helpful,cheerful and a loving father. He gave me one of my first jobs, working for him at the Gateway Arco. Teaching me responsibility & how to work hard. As a kid, we used to go on family picnics often & my mom & dad always enjoyed Wayne's easy going personality. We were together for almost every Thanksgiving, Christmas, 4th of July growing up. He was a very giving, generous man who would help you any way he could. Later, after i became a father, Wayne was always so nice to our kids whenever we were together for family events. So sorry to here of Uncle Wayne's passing. I'm sorry we lived so far apart, I enjoyed the time we had together in 1968 when I was in training at Fort Lewis.Your folks let me spend several weekends with you.Thinking of you all.
