William Harold Milligan, known to everyone in his life as Bill, was born on December 11, 1949 to Harold Rutial Milligan and Marjorie Adna Milligan (Née Sims). He married Leana Milligan in 1972 and had two children. He was widowed in 2015 when Leana preceded him in death. While born in Wenatchee, Washington he grew up in Seattle, Washington. He served in both the United States Air Force and the United States Coast Guard before settling down to a life as a carman for BNSF where he retired. Bill was an avid motorcyclist and owned and rode Harley Davidson’s for his entire adult life. He was an amazing artist who built model planes, trains, and cars. In the last decade of his life he restored countless vintage Schwinn bicycles. He is survived by his sister, Sharen Sleater, his two sons, William Wesley Milligan and Sean Patrick Milligan, and Sean’s son, his grandson Kayden Connor James.
Memorial Services will be held at 2:30PM on Friday, July 11th, 2025, at Purdy & Walters at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery 409 Filbert Rd, Lynnwood, WA.
