To the family. I just find out about Ms. Ada passing. My condolences to the family. I worked with Ms Ada for Burlington Coat Factory.  She had such a big heart and one of the sweetest person one could ever meet. Again my condolences to the family.    Jennifer West

She was a loving and caring mother to some very unruly children, myself included. She raised us in the old school fashion, beatings with the yard stick, but that's OK, I thank her now for each and every one. She nurtured all of our talents and let us become the individuals we are today. She opened her home to many  friends that were displaced and every type of stray pet you could imagine. There was always, always room for one more, she never said no to anyone in need. She had a voice of an angel and I can still hear her humming the old gospel hymns in the kitchen right now. I'll miss you mama, but by God's mighty grace and because He makes it possible, I know I will see you again.

Ada Pearl Chancellor McCallum of Lizella, Ga. died peacefully at home after many years of loving care by her son and his wife; Charles and Betty Shubert.
She was born to the late William Alton Chancellor and Lois Hazel Dickson of Lizella,  Ga.
Ada was a loving mother, enjoyed a career as a district manager in retail, a very talented artist, enjoyed gardening and her flower beds. She loved the Lord and was always trying to bring someone else into His flock. I pray our Lord keeps her safe on her new journey.
She was preceded in death by an infant son and her son John Chester Shubert. Surviving children include; Thomas Eugene Shubert, Rhonda Elaine Shubert and Charles David Shubert, 3 grandchildren; Terry Eugene Shubert, Hana Lynn Connor and Aylah McAllister along with many great grandchildren.
