

Merritt Island, FL- Agnes Runette Collins, 98, of Macon, GA passed away Friday, February 10, 2017. A visitation will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 from 10:00 AM-11:00 AM at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. A Celebration of her life will be held Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home in Macon, Georgia. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Paul Dziadul officiating.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was born Agnes Runette Heath, in Macon, GA on 8/1/1918 to John and Bedie Heath and graduated from A.L. Miller High. She was a faithful member of Log Cabin Baptist Church for many years, where she served as a choir member, Sunday school teacher, and ministered to the elderly, delivering weekly taped sermons to the home-bound members. She retired after over 30 years of service from Warner Robbins Air Force Base and moved to Merritt Island, Florida in early 2000 to be near her daughter. Among her hobbies were crocheting, gardening, ceramics and travelling with the Log Cabin Golden Ramblers. She was an honorary sister of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Int'l and a member of the Merritt Island Ceramics Club.
She is survived by her daughter, LaVerne Bush Woodard; grandchildren Susan Lambert (Jim), Lisa Haber (Rob) and Wendy Woodard; sister-in-law Ethel Heath, six great-grandchildren, one niece and two nephews.
