The family of Barbara Ann Richardson of Macon, Ga is saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, September 9, 2021 at the age of 69 years. She was born on January 30, 1952 in Houston, Texas to Robert Decatur Richardson and Vivian Matlock Richardson, she was an only child. She moved to Macon, Georgia in 1976 to start a new career at YKK. Along the way she developed a lifelong relationship with numerous co-workers at YKK, the Mimbs family and her church family from Cathedral of Christ. She played the role of Mother to many and was treated with the utmost love and respect. She will truly be missed, she was a blessing. She was preceded in death by her parents, “Uncle Charlie”, “Granny” and her cousin Larry Foster, Sr.
She is survived by her cousins Joe Foster, Jean Burkalter, Suzanne and Larry Foster Jr., Nikki Wilder, best friend Brenda Tucker and many others. Services will be held at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home in Macon, Georgia on Monday, September 20, 2021. Visitation will begin at 1:00PM. A celebration of Life will begin at 2:00PM, conducted by Pastor Monty Febuary, following will be burial at Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
