Barbara Ann Williamson, 84, passed away Friday, August 30, 2013. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Rev. Jeff Grist will officiate. The family will meet friends beginning at 1:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
Mrs. Williamson was born in Macon and had lived here for most of her life. She was the widow of Charlie T. Kitchens, Jr. and Harold Williamson and the daughter of the late Ruth Reynolds Clark and Harry Clark. She was retired from Keebler after 41 years of service. Mrs. Williamson was a member of the DAV and was active with the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Mrs. Williamson is survived by her children, Dianne (Cecil) Claxton of Macon, Tony (Pam) Kitchens of Palm Springs, CA; grandchildren, Lisa (Randy) Moon, Tony Claxton, Wendy Claxton, Charlie Kitchens, and Ryan Kitchens; great-grandchildren, Jessica, Zachary, Connor, Haley, Spencer, and Bailey Moon, Charles Pendley, and Sam Claxton; brother, Raymond (Sylvia) Clark of Macon; several nieces and nephews.
