Bernice Pauline Tanner Snow, age 95, of Macon, GA passed away April 11, 2022. There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at 12 noon in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. There will be a Visitation at 11:00 am until service time. Interment will be in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Snow was born in Tifton, GA to the late John Wesley and Hulda Henderson Tanner. She moved to Macon in February 1936 and married Julian Maurice Snow in February 1942. She retired from Robins Air Force Base in 1976 after 26 years of dedicated service. She joined TOPS in 1987 and attained KOPS status in 1989.
At Tanner-Henderson reunions, everyone looked forward to her caramel layer cake. She loved to cook and was a great cook. She loved flowers, the color purple, and cats, dogs, pigs, and cherubs. She was of the Baptist faith.
Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Adelia Phillips; grandson, Stuart Wesley Phillips; special niece, Carole Propst; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Julian Maurice Snow; brothers, Dave and Walter; sisters, Mary, Dorcas, Rena, Faye, and Kathrine; son-in-law, Grover Dean Phillips; and sister-in-law, Kathrine Linder.
