MACON – Betty Jane E. Coley, 73, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2010 at her residence with her family at her side. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday in the chapel of Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home with burial in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The Rev. Randy Wilkes and the Rev. Loretta Faulk will officiate. The family will meet friends from 6 – 8 p.m., Saturday at the funeral home and may be contacted at the residence.
Ms. Coley, daughter of the late William Homer and Effie Irene Dickerson Estes, was born in Atlanta. She was of the Baptist Faith.
A loving mother and grandmother, she is survived by her children, Gary (Kristy) Cunningham of Twiggs County, Danny (Susan) Coley of Chester, John E. (Debbie Hill) Coley, Jr. and Vicki (Danny) Ramage, all of Macon and Tony (Marie) Coley of Jones County; fourteen grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; her sister, Dorothy (Wayne) Watson of Macon; her brother, Lonnie Estes, Sr. of Macon; a number of nieces and nephews.
