Betty Green Sauls Jones, 95, of Macon, Georgia passed away Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Funeral services will be held Friday, April 18, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Snows at Macon Memorial Park Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Dr. Mark Hudgins will officiate. The family will have a time of visitation on Friday, April 18, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. till service time in the funeral home.
Born in Macon, she was the daughter of the late Clark Sauls Sr. and Mertie Mae Nobles Sauls. She was the widow of J.D. Green, Jr. and Cecil Jones. She was preceded in death by her son, Michael Green, her brother, Clark Sauls Jr. and stepson, Tim Jones.
Mrs. Jones was a member of Ingleside Baptist Church, where she was involved in Sunday school and volunteered with the hospitality and meals at the church.
She is survived by her son, Kelly Green (Sharon), grandchildren, Jesseca Williamson (Chris Allen), Kimberly Williamson (Brian Beckham), Jeremy Williamson (Kristy) great grandchildren, Camryn Allen, Autumn Allen, Dallas Allen, Joel Smith, Bella Beckham, Braxton Beckham, Alena Williamson. Sister-in-law, Marilyn Sauls; Stepson, Sandy Jones (Leigh); Step grandchildren, Annie Jones and Aubrey Brannon (Todd), Bryan Jones (Deirdre), Wes Jones; step great grandchildren, Walker Jones, Lincoln Jones, and Conner Jones; stepdaughter in law: Sue Jones.
