Betty Joyce Payne, 85, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, July 7, 2017. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, July 12, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. in Macon Memorial Park Cemetery with Dr. Neal Wall officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 886 Mulberry Street, Macon GA 31201.
Betty was born in Macon, Georgia to the late George Clements and Mildred Jones Clements. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Howard Payne and her son, Dell Payne. Betty was a member of Brownsville Baptist Church in Pensacola, Florida and a former member of Bellevue Baptist Church.
She is survived by her son, Don (Linda) Payne, daughter, Debbie (Roger) Widner, grandchildren, Bryan (Brittany) Morris, Brandon (Brandi) Morris, Bradley Morris, Chris Payne, Courtney Payne and Matt Payne, five great grandchildren.
