Bobby George “Buddy” Harris, 87, died Wednesday, July 24, 2025, in a local hospital following a brief illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday in the chapel of Snow’s at Macon Memorial Park. Private burial will follow in Macon Memorial Park. Robbie Jones will officiate. The family will receive friends following the service. The family suggest in lieu of flowers, those who wish make donations to your favorite charity.
Bobby was born in Macon, the son of the late John Lee and Gladys Harper Harris. He was a self employed carpenter and auto mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra J. Harris of Macon, 2 Sons, Clay Harris of Macon and David Harris of Macon. 2 Daughters: Teresa Ogelsby of Macon and Deanna Cheatham of Dawsonville, GA. 4 Grandchildren: Josh McAfee, Jonathan McAfee, Ethan Harris and Caroline Harris, Andrew Harris, Daniel Harris, Lola Cheatham. 2 Great-grandchildren, Abigail Harris and Nicholas Harris.
