Bonnie L. Lambert

Bonnie Lee Barth Lambert, 81, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Saturday, May 2, 2015. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 8, 2015, at 12:00 noon in the Chapel of Macon Memorial Park with the Rev. Baxter Hurley officiating. Burial will be in the Mausoleum of Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Forest Hills United Methodist Church, 1217 Forest Hill Rd., Macon, 31210, or Heartland Hospice, 3312 Northside Dr., Ste D250, Macon, 31210.

Mrs. Lambert was born in Dayton, Ohio to the late Charles and Grace Barth. She was preceded in death by her husband, Corbett Harley Lambert and was preceded in death by her brother, Jack E. Barth. She worked in retail sales for many years and was retired from Drive Line Merchandising as a merchandiser. Mrs. Lambert was a member of Forest Hills United Methodist Church, the Leonard Grace Sunday School Class, and the Red Hats Society.

She was also a member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority for over 40 years. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and aunt.

Mrs. Lambert is survived by her daughter, Lori (Tommy) Lyles; son, Scott (Tina) Lambert; grandchildren, Logan Scott Lambert, Courtney (Zach) Ann Lloyd, and Zack Lyles; great grandchild, Cooper Lloyd; and her beloved nieces and nephews.
